We are the first critics of our own wines.

WE HAVE ALWAYS FOLLOWED OUR INTUITION,
OUR EXPERIENCE AND OUR TASTE.

Certain to realize wines capable of conveying our land's wonders.
Wines produced from our work in the vineyard, made with extreme care and dedication.
Wines which reveal our true calling, vine growing.

From the first bottle of Curtefranca in 1968, even more with the first bottle of Franciacorta in 1979, our surname stands out on the label of our wines.

THE TALE OF A JOURNEY.A story portrayed by a deep empathy with the vineyard:
making our Franciacorta DOCG is, to us, an unmissable adventure.

We have a business ethic, our own, and we follow its natural evolution, knowing that each wine is heir to the previous, with its own unique peculiarities. Formulas and recipes, technological and, even worst, chemical expedients, are simply not for us.

Gleaning from our long business experience, encouraged by our ever evolving taste, we move forwards and backwards between tradition and experimentation.

ALL THE TIME IT TAKES.

We have always promoted the benefits of a long yeasts aging.
What the norms tell us, is not enough.
That is why we start with at least 24-30 months,
reaching, for some of our Collections, even 120 months.
Bound to an artisanal mark, we riddle each bottle by hand,
deciding when to do the disgorging based on the vintage and our own certainties.

RAMPANETO AND TAJARDINO.A white and a red.

Two of the most representative crus within the whole territory,
showing our vocation for still wines as well.
They are the Rampaneto, a single-varietal Chardonnay,
from an old clone spread by cuttings,
and the Tajardino, a selection of Merlot,
Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Rampaneto, our cru since 1842, has been the first Chardonnay to be bottled as single-varietal in the entire area.

IN THE WINE CELLAR WE OBSERVE,
AND UNDERSTAND.
Just like in the vineyard.
The first duty of a good vintner
is to not spoil the good grapes from the vineyard.

Filtrations, finings, sulfur dioxide: all is kept to a minimum,
intervening only when truly necessary.
In the wine cellar, shielded from sunlight and sudden changes of temperature,
the wine evolves and ages, maturing its own personality
and strengthening its character.

We own 42 hectares of hillside land and we do not wish to buy or rent more.

WE ARE AWARE WE HAVE THE NUMBERS.

42 hectares of vineyards which give us,
when everything goes well, 200.000 bottles per year,
always sold out among the best
restaurants and shops, in Italy and worldwide.
Franciacorta would allow us,
on equal extent, to produce 350.000.
We do not need more numbers to introduce ourselves.
You are left to make up your mind.
